2020 is Off to a Busy Start

As always, the CoBI Board starts off the year reviewing Grants, to both organizations and support groups.  Submissions from organizations are due by the end of January with announcements in April.  We are looking forward to seeing what comes in.  Other key activities for the start of this year include:

  • CoBI is working on some exciting opportunities for children with brain injuries or other neurologic disorders through a grant from the Brain Injury Association of PA and the PA Department of Health’s Child and Maternal Health Services Title V Block Grant. Looking forward to sharing more info in the coming months.

  • CoBI Conference 2020 will feature two nationally-recognized speakers on the impact of pediatric brain injury on the lifespan and will also address post-concussion migraine, strength and balance in older adults with brain injury, and career longevity/excellence in the field. This conference for professionals is in Pittsburgh on April 21st—see website for the details.

  • Grantee Spotlight – we will be adding a new area to our website and Facebook page to highlight the great work of our grantees.  Stay tuned for this launch later this Spring!

Upcoming Events for the first half of 2020 include:

  • CoBI Clinical Forum in Paoli, PA – February 11th
